When you read about the pregnancy, there are so many topics to cover and talk about… An endless list of syndromes like when you go crazy cleaning up the entire house, you fall in love again with your with your partner/husband… But no one talks about that one (that I don’t know how to create a funny name in English) but consists on to wear all you regular clothes before your baby bump grows and gets so big! Maybe it’s not a syndromes as I think and it’s just another kind of weird whim that preggos suffer from. You want to wear your favorite summer skirt although the weather is not that good but you want to have that little affair, you try to wear all your regular jeans because they look so much better than any other maternity jeans but… Oh God if that elastic band breaks! And sure that kind of things happens, I’m telling you from my experience ;) People congratulate you because even though the pregnancy, you are still able to wear all your clothes but -between you and me- we know that all those seams are about to break and we are not having that kind of  days when you don’t take nothing too serious…  Definitely, I’m living these two pregnancies so different from one to another, but there are things that are still the same and I do have so many downs and ups every other day. No worries, this week I will publish a post talking about how I’m feeling this time in in comparison with the other time.

So yes, I’m wearing this skirt because I know that this baby bump is not going to wait for the nice weather; because every day I see more limited my possibilities when it comes to get dressed and because I don’t understand why I’m having this big baby bump with only 4 months of pregnancy that looks exactly the same when I was 7 months pregnant with #missOlivia and I still have half of the pregnancy ahead… So the best thing to do when you are having those days is to grab something from your closet that you really love and say goodbye as it deserves, even though no ones understand you. But I’m sure that all of you will agree with me that this skirt was such a good deal and a genius purchase. I don’t wear it as much as I thought I would, but I don’t care because I’m still in love with it and I know that this love is gonna be a long-term relationship :)

Cuando lees o hablas sobre el embarazo, surgen muchos tópicos y cómo no una lista innumerable de síndromes.. Que si el síndrome del nido, que si te reenamoras de tu pareja… Pero nadie suele mencionar ese que yo he bautizado como «antes de que suba el pan». Es tan cómico como parece y es nuestra obsesión de embarazadas por ponernos a toda prisa esas prendas que sabemos vamos a tener que olvidar y aparcar hasta el proximo año. Igual yo lo llamo síndrome u obsesión y no se trata más que de otro antojo raro! Corres a ponerte tu falda de verano favorita aunque pases frío con el fin de tener ese reencuentro fugaz pero bonito, te enfundas esos jeans que te hacen unas piernas de muerte pero que de caderas para arriba.. ¡Ay si un día la gomilla se rompe! Y ojo, que me ha pasado ;) Mucha gente te felicita porque tu ropa aún te entra pero bien sabes que esa costura está a punto de explotar -literal- y ojalá hoy no sea el dia porque no está la cosa para bollos, ya que hablamos de panes y hornos… Hay muchas cosas que estoy notando distintas de este embarazo con respecto al anterior -he hecho una recopilación y lo publicaré esta semana ;)- pero hay cosas que no cambian y es esa montaña rusa que hace que haya días de todos los colores y tipos.

Asi que sí, esta falda me la pongo porque sé que la barriga no va a esperar al buen tiempo, porque cada día veo más limitadas mis posibilidades y porque no entiendo porque con 4 meses de embarazo tengo que tener la barriga que tenía cuando estaba de 7 y aún me queda medio embarazo por delante… Asi que nada mejor para uno de esos días de desesperanza que ponerte una prenda bonita de tu armario y despedirte de ella aunque nadie te entienda. Pero coincidireis conmigo que con esta falda acerté de pleno cuando la compré el año pasado. Me la compré pensando que le daría mucho uso y es verdad que al final no me la he puesto tanto como pensaba, pero no importa porque se que será una falda que se quede conmigo muchos años :)
