Hello from the cold Berlin! Oh my God… I didn’t remember how is living in a super-duper cold city. I think that our expectations were too high, maybe we didn’t expect such freaking cold weather and so it hit us so well… Anyway, despite the cold, the lack of sunlight but the abundance of darkness, still we are having such a good time together :) This is my second time in Berlin –for Salva is his third time- and although I loved it, I had mixed feelings so I was looking forward to come back and live the city in another way. Also, traveling with my love, having some “us” time without stress and worries, it always feels good! Of course, now I’m having that feeling of being homesick because I’m missing #missOlivia so so much! I just want to be back home with her and live our beautiful life of being a family of 4 :)

Of course, the first thing I erased from my mind once I was back from Warsaw was how to survive in a cold city from a fashion point. Getting dressed every day is like a nightmare, specially if you want to create beautiful outfits and no just wear basic looks. But to be fair, I think I made it for this trip, so here it goes some tips. If you are traveling to a cold place, bring a jacket with faux fur lining, it’s da bomb! You still look fabulous but so classy and what’s more you are not freezing. I’m loving this one so so much, specially for its oversized shape. It’s gonna be on my top 10 this winter for sure ;) Another important thing are hats and scarves. Guys, this is very important because if you don’t want to go crazy while deciding what to bring on your suitcase, I think that the most practical thing is to pick clothes in neutral colors (white, black, gray & blue) and play with colorful scarves, hats or beanies. If you are bringing some jewelry, opt for a XXL pair of earrings!

Hola, hola desde el frío Berlin! Ya no recordaba lo que era vivir en este frío tan intenso. Creo que veniamos con las expectativas muy altas, y este frío polar nos ha dado de lleno en las narices.. Aun a pesar de eso, de la poca luz y de las muchas horas de oscuridad, nos lo hemos pasado muy muy bien :) Es la segunda vez que estoy en la ciudad -Salva la tercera- y aunque me gustaba, me fui con un sabor agridulce asi que tenía ganas de volver a explorar la ciudad y reemplazar esos sentimientos «encontrados». Ademas, que unos días así, sin tanto estrés y preocupaciones más allá de dónde comer o qué visitar tampoco vienen de vez en cuando, aunque muero ganas por ver a #missOlivia y no separarme de ella!!

Y uff.. Tambien se me había olvidado lo complicado que es vestirte con el frío, y más aun si te quieres salir de lo básico-super básico… Pero creo que me he defendido muy bien este viaje :) Si vuestros próximos destinos son fríos, os recomiendo una chaqueta con forro de pelo como ésta porque abrigan mucho. ¡Son un gustazo! Me gusta sobre todo que sea corte oversized y en color negro… Va a estar en mi top 10 de prendas favoritas :) Otro indispensable son las bufandas, y creo que para no complicaros mucho a la hora de hacer la maleta, lo mejor es que optéis por colores neutros (blanco, negros, gris, azul) y juguéis con los accesorios como sombreros, bufandas o gorros, y si añadis algún pendiente XXL pues mejor que mejor!
