That’s it. I know what you are thinking and you are so right: this baby bump is getting big day by day! Two weeks ago you can barely notice my baby bump and now look at it… I’m a little bit confused. I’m on that point where most of my jeans don’t fit at all, except if I try the elastic band trick and it doesn’t work always, but the maternity ones are still too big so I’m not comfortable neither… I’m so surprised when you tell me that you are willing to see how I #stylethebump this time because you used to love all my proposals. Well, let me tell you that there were days when I thought I was about to die! It was so difficult to make my clothes work while I was pregnant, doing it with style and still trying to be a source of inspiration for those who are not pregnant. There outfits or pieces that you can only wear and look cute while you are pregnant, but it’s difficult to stay out the simple zone because most the maternity clothes are thought to be comfy and that’s all. Also, it’s difficult for yourself to look what you are seeing on the mirror on a daily basis… So, by now, I don’t feel as excited as you about this new challenge but let’s see how it turns out :)

The thing is that there are looks that always work no matter the situation or the season, we can trust them and this is one of those. I’ve bee telling you lately that trenchs are a key piece for Spring, but add to that list parkas, because they really are. I’m looking for a embellissement one with ornaments, embroidery or something like that, but if you still don’t have one, go first for a simple one and better if it fits a little bit fitted ;)

Efectivamente. Vosotras lo pensáis y yo os lo confirmo: el ritmo de crecimiento que ha alcanzado mi barriga es descomunal! Pasé de que a penas se me intuía a esto -dejémoslo ahí- y me tiene un poco desconcertada. Estoy en ese punto en el que la mayoría de mis jeans ya no me sirven, salvo si recurro al viejo truco de la gomilla y con todos no funciona, pero los de premamá aún no los relleno y se me van cayendo… Me alucina cuando me comentáis que tenéis ganas de volver a ver looks de embarazada porque os encantaron todas las propuesta de cuando estaba embarazada con Olivia. Lo que no sabéis es la de quebraderos de cabeza que tuve intentando vestirme embarazada y con ropa apta para mi, pero al mismo tiempo intentar seguir siendo una fuente de inspiración incluso para las que no estábais. Le tuve que dar vueltas y vueltas a las prendas, buscando la forma de poder llevarlas y verme bien, favorecida, sin caer en lo simple pero que tampoco se me viese demasiado «puesta». De momento, me estoy arreglando pero tengo que decir que no afronto el reto con el mismo entusiasmo que vosotras :)

El caso es que hay looks que independientemente de la situación y de la época, podemos confiar ciegamente en ellos porque siempre funcionan. El clásico jeans + parka no falla, siempre será ese compañero al que recurrir cuando un día tonto o este tiempo loco nos deje sin ideas. Si os llevo diciendo varios días que necesitáis un trench, una parka es también obligatoria en el armario. Me apetece alguna tipo enjoyada con adornos, bordados o brocados, pero sin duda, antes de adentraros en la aventura necesitáis una básica, y mejor si os queda ligeramente entallada ;)
