When you are inside the fashion industry, something changes and so your point of view. I think that it’s important to be updated with the latest trends but also keep your own style and aesthetic. From time to time I take a look at my mother’s closet or I check old boxes full of clothes when she was young, I’m in a fashion heaven. I love to go through all the vintage pieces that look old-fashioned but actually they are so trendy. You can notice the quality and the good pattern with which was made, they are always so stylish. Since I work in fashion, my most asked question –after how I started my blog- is where I do my big investments or which pieces are my favorites. My response is always the same and it takes three different categories: shoes, bags and vintage pieces. This stunning and beautiful skirt is from when my mother was even younger than me, I’ve been wearing it since the first year I started this blog and I still think that it’s impossible that one day I would find something that unique but so simple somewhere! Vintage pieces give the soul to the outfit, and then shoes and a cute bag the touch of class.

Shoes, specifically heels, have always been my weakness, even more than bags. Surprising me with a nice pair of heels is not so complicated, but making me fall in love with them… Well, that’s another story! When we talk about shoes, I am very demanding and I ask to every single many requirements, including: that they are beautiful, comfortable and unique. I love to dreams with a huge shoes closet and that’s why I’m constantly looking for new websites where to find new designers or shoes to fall in love with. When I saw these Valentino golden heels months ago on Farfetch, I knew that some day they would be on my closet. I need them! I’ve been dreaming about them ever since then and now that dreams became true! Of course, it took me a while to make up my mind and being sure if I prefer high or low heel, print or plain color… All of these things without taking into account that my heels wish-list is pretty large! Last summer I added to my shoe collection a pair of Isabel Marant gold heeled sandals, and since metallic shoes are a constant on my closet and daily outfits, I thought it would be a great idea to find a pair of heels in golden too. Yes, these are as cute and beautiful as they seem to be on pictures! Of course, if you don’t like high heels –although these are super comfortable- you can opt for the low heel version or these kitten heels in pink blush from Chloé. But being honest with you, these mules from Nº21 also know the way to my heart ;)

Regarding bags, I always repeat the same statement: if you want to invest in a designer bag, avoid plain colors like brown or black and go for bright colors or colorful prints. Try to find a special one that it will always be the icing on the cake of whatever you are wearing that day. I’m in love with this one from Nº21; I love the size, the shape, the print and the details, everything to sum up in just a word. Since day one, it became my go-to bag because it always work and add that touch of class that we talked on the beginning of this post ;)

Cuando estás dentro de la industria de la moda, tan importante es estar actualizada con las nuevas tendencias como mantenerte fiel a tu estética o estilo. Cuando de vez en cuando acudo al armario de mi madre o a las cajas con ropa guardadas en el altillo, alucino con todo lo que van tocando mis manos. Prendas de otra época pero tan actuales, con otros cortes y tejidos, pero sin duda destilan calidad y estilo a raudales. Desde que tengo este blog y me dedico a la moda, me suelen preguntar en qué invierto más o cuáles son mis bienes más preciados, y yo lo resumiría en tres categorías: zapatos, bolsos y todas las prendas vintage heredadas de mi madre e incluso de mi abuela. Esta maravillosa falda es de cuando mi madre era joven, y yo hoy la veo y pienso que es imposible que un día encuentre en una tienda una falda tan simple y espectacular al mismo tiempo! Las prendas vintage son la pieza del puzzle dentro de un look que aporta la esencia, y los zapatos y un bolso el toque de distinción.

Siempre he sentido debilidad por los zapatos, tacones para ser más exactas, incluso más que por los bolsos. Sorprenderme con un par bonito no es complicado, pero que me enamore de ellos… Eso ya es otro cantar. Cuando hablamos de zapatos, soy muy exigente y a cada par le pido muchos requisitos, entre ellos: que sean bonitos, cómodos y únicos. Me encanta mirar y descubrir nuevas webs y nuevos diseñadores, y cuando vi estos zapatos de Valentino en Farfetch, me enamoré pérdidamente de ellos porque cumplían con todas mis exigencias, y desde entonces les juré y prometí un sitio en mi vestidor. No sabía cuando llegaría el momento, pero estaba seguro que un día estarían hasta que por fin ese sueño se ha hecho realidad :) No creáis que no dudé, que si el tacón bajo o más alto, si estampado o en un color liso… ¡Sin contar con que mi wish-list está plagada de zapatos! Hacía tiempo que quería incorporar un par de zapatos dorados a mi colección, ya sabéis que yo le doy mucho uso a los metalizados y son una constante en mi armario. Y sí, ¡son tan bonitos como parecen en las fotos! Si las alturas no son lo vuestro y queréis comodidad por encima de todo, podéis optar por la versión de tacón bajo de Valentino o estos tacones en color rosa pálido de Chloé, aunque confieso que fueron estas mules de Nº21 las primeras que llamaron mi atención ;)

En cuanto al bolso, siempre diré lo mismo: cuando quieras invertir en un bolso de firma, mejor hacerlo siempre en uno realmente especial, uno que tenga personalidad y sea el auténtico protagonista. Yo siempre tiendo a evitar colores como el negro o marrón (aunque si hablamos del bolso Mily de Chloé o de la bandolera Hudson también de Chloé, puedo y debo de hacer la excepción), pero este en print de serpiente de Nº21 es total. Se ha convertido en mi bolso comodín para todo :)
