Oh my… This trip has been so crazy with a tight scheduled so I’m still so tired! I know that it may sounds confuse when I say travel + feeling tired, but it’s absolutely not the same thing when you are traveling just because you want, than when you have to work while traveling… Of course, it’s so much better than working at home, but it gets more energy! Anyway, one of the things that I love the most when I’m abroad is to visit the supermarkets to see what the people eat on a daily basis, try typical plates as many as I can and taking pictures around the city. It feels so good to take pictures somewhere else different from where we usually take photos. I feel more inspired and motivated, it’s like any little corner looks good for a couple of pictures. Also, pictures help me to make strong memories. Still today I go through old pictures and I’m able to remember how the day was or what we did aside from taking pictures. Definitely, I have to come back to Gran Canaria some time soon because I saw so many beautiful places that I wish I could share with you too, but we were running out of time. Oh girl, the light there is just magical… #PleaseTakeMeBackSoon ;)

As I told you yesterday, I’m working on an extend guide to share with you all the places we visited, but I cannot show you this outfit without telling you the story behind this look. While we were here in Gran Canaria, I’ve been lucky enough to meet a great canarian designer, Aurelia Gil. We went to her studio, she was so kind with us and showed us how it works a brand from inside. I’ve never seen those details and the proccess behind the clothes we wear… It’s amazing! This was my look for that morning, then I changed into swimsuit and denim shorts to visit Maspalomas Dunes in the south of the isle.

While I was looking for some new swimsuits, I saw this top. I know, it’s so daring if we take a look at what I’ve been wearing lately, but it was love at first sight. I didn’t even pay attention to the detail of the cropped shape. I thought that I would find something on my closet to combine it with and I think I did it so well! It’s the perfect item for monochromatic outfits or for those days that you want to look flawless without being forced. Definitely, at this point, I need to find a word which describes a basic item that at the same time has that twist… Any suggestion? :P

¿Sugerencias? :p

  2. I actually adore your combination here! I think the top is so cool with the cut outs – it isn’t too much and paired with the pants it looks so classy! The earrings add that extra touch too!
