Yesterday I was talking about basics pieces, we need to have variety and not only that but introduce some new now and then. On the other hand, we have that kind of basics that aren’t so basic, those for which there is no replacement… I’m sure I’m not the only one that I beg «I wish they have this top in all the possible colors». Well, this top has like two years or so and I’m not sure if I would like it that much in other shades, but definitely I would give it a chance in a cute print or if it was made with another fabric. What’s more, I would say that this top is my number one option when I’m on a rush and I go to me best combo: white top + black bottom. What can I say? When a basic works, it just works so perfectly! Some times I’m so surprised about how difficult is actually find good basics, right? I mean, it has to be a normal thing but I don’t even have yet the perfect white tee :/

Long skirts are and will be more than welcome in my closet because they are one of my favorites pieces. And for the record, if I don’t wear more often as I used to did, it’s just because I like to wear heels with long and midi skirts but I think that my tastes don’t much with my mind preferences :P

Ayer os hablaba de los básicos, de lo necesario que es tener variedad y de la tarea que tenemos de reponerlos de vez en cuando. Pero también hay otros básicos, no tan básicos, que por mucho que queramos nunca podremos encontrarles un sustituto. Cuántas de nosotras habremos dicho mil veces «ojalá tuviesen este top en todos los colores»… Este top tiene ya casi dos años y no sé si en otros colores me gustaría, pero me fliparía en algún estampado o incluso en otra tela. Diría que es mi opción número uno cuando tengo prisa y recurro a mi combinación preferida: top blanco + falda/pantalón negro. Si es que cuando un básico funciona que se quite lo demás… A veces me parece increíble que precisamente lo más difícil sea dar con buenos básicos de calidad, debería de ser  lo normal, ¿no?

Las faldas largas son y serán siempre bien recibidas en mi armario porque son de mis prendas favoritas. Y que conste en acta que si ahora no hago tanto uso de ellas así como del corte midi es porque la mayoría de las ocasiones requieren tacones, y ahora tiendo inconscientemente a buscar otro tipo de zapato.
