In Paris, there are certain monuments/attractions that you can not miss, even if it is not your first time in the city of light. One of them is the Arc de Triomphe, from where many of the city’s main avenues depart, including the big avenue of the Champs-Elysees. It’s a nice place by day and night, although I have to admit that by now we didn’t have the pleasure of going to the top to admire the wonderful views. This day we didn’t do too much and believe it or not, traveling with a 2 year old girl is fun as much as tired, although I’ll talk about traveling with a toddler in a dedicated post. With kids on board, you can do with the day more or less depending on your point of view. That morning we had to move into our new hotel, and that in the afternoon we had the Bonpoint runway. The next two nights we stayed at the wonderful Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s {46 Avenue George V}, which is located in one of the streets near to Avenue Champs-Elysees, so the location was more than perfect. Plus, when we were in Paris three years ago, we stayed also in this area and so I would highly suggested this neighborhood in case you are not sure where to stay. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee-shops, little shops and supermarket, and of course, high&low cost stores. The arch of Triumph was just 5 minutes away from our hotel, and definitely it’s such a good point to start your journey discovering the city. That day, after walking around and take the classic picture under the Arch of Triumph, where #missOlivia had so much fun playing with the pigeons, we went to lunch and we ended up at La Flamme {6 Avenue de Wagram}. It was very good but a little bit expensive if you ask me, but it was a nice place, near to the hotel and we were on a rush!
About my outfit, I know! I’m suffering from dot’s fever and I need right away someone who stops me, otherwise I cannot see an upcoming end. I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with this print lately… I mean, I bought three different tops these sales and all of them were with polka dots. The funny/worst part is that I have on my cart already a pair of brown pants with black dots from the new collection. OMG! Please, stop me :P

En Paris, hay ciertos monumentos/atracciones que no puedes dejar de visitar, incluso si no es tu primera vez en la ciudad de la luz. Uno de ellos es el Arco del Triunfo, desde donde parten muchas de las avenidas importantes de la ciudad, entre ellas la gran avenida de los Campos Elíseos. Es un sitio bonito de día y de noche, aunque tengo que admitir que de momento no hemos tenido el placer de subir para admirar las maravillosas vistas. Este día nos cundió poco y es que, no creáis, viajar con una niña de 2 años es tan divertido como cansado, aunque de eso os hablaré en un post dedicado. El día cunde más o menos según por donde lo mires, y esa mañana entre el traslado a nuestro nuevo hotel, y que por la tarde teníamos el desfile de Bonpoint, no dio tiempo a mucho. Las siguientes dos noches nos hospedamos en el maravilloso Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s {46 Avenue George V}, que esta en una bocacalle de la Avenida de los Campos Elíseos, así que la situación era inmejorable. Además, cuando estuvimos Salva y yo en la ciudad hace 3 años, justo nos quedamos por esta zona. Desde luego, si no sabéis por cuál zona de Paris quedaros, esta es una zona que os recomiendo porque hay muchísimos restaurantes y cafeterías, tiendas, el Arco del Triunfo y un buen punto de partida para recorrer la ciudad hasta llegar a la Torre Eiffel pasando por mucho de los puntos importantes del mapa. Después de dar un paseo y hacer la foto de rigor en el arco del triunfo, donde #missOlivia se entretuvo jugando con las palomas de lado a lado, fuimos en busca de un sitio donde comer y acabamos en La Flamme {6 Avenue de Wagram}. Muy rico aunque quizás un poco un caro, pero nos echó la hora encima y no había tiempo que perder!
Definitivamente, por favor, que alguien quite de en medio todos los tops con print de lunares porque si lo veo, no respondo a mis actos. No sé qué me está pasando, pero los lunares me han cegado. ¿Es normal haberme comprado en rebajas 3 tops diferentes pero en el mismo print? Y si os digo que encima ya tengo en mi carrito del deseo unos pantalones marrones con print de lunares en negro?! Lo dicho, que alguien me pare por favor :P
