And here they are, the mom jeans are now on my closet. I still remember when several years ago I was trying to convince my mother to get rid off those horrible high waisted jeans. I told her that they were so old-fashioned and now we love skinny jeans and low-waist. Well, look who is wearing them now… Definitely, when it comes to fashion, sooner or later all comes back, and there are things that I’m glad to see them back because they are truly beautiful trends that are flattering and they should never have gone. While there are other trends that I hate and I would love if they are kept in the memory lane…

I’ve been thinking about this kind of jeans for so long. Almost everybody is wearing them now and I always love the retro-vintage aesthetic, but I have my doubts… They would look flattering on me for real? I have to say that they do no matter your body shape, because they enhance our silhouette, they keep in place the abdominal area and they focus on our natural curves. But of course, if this is not the silhouette you love, there’s nothing left to say. But there’s one thing about those jeans that I love and it’s that you can wear them with just a plain t-shirt, and they look so much better than with a skinny jeans. Here is my tip if you are looking for yours: keep in mind that the most flattering ones are high-waisted and cropped jeans ;)

Y llegaron los jeans de tiro alto-altísimo a mi armario. Aún recuerdo cuando hace algunos años veía a mi madre con ellos puestos y le decía «ay mamá, te tienes que modernizar, ¡que eso ya no se lleva!» Y ahora mira quién se los pone… Definitivamente, en lo que a moda se refiere, todo vuelve tarde o temprano, y hay cosas que me alegro que se vuelvan a ver porque verdaderamente son tendencias bonitas, que favorecen y que quizás nunca deberían de haber desaparecido. Mientras que hay otras que ojalá nadie las hubiese sacado del baúl de los recuerdos…

Llevaba un tiempo dándole vueltas a este tipo de vaqueros, porque los veía y me encantaban, ya sabéis que siempre me ha gustado la estética retro-vintage, pero no sabía si a mi me favorecerían… Tengo que decir que favorecer favorecen mucho a todas, porque realzan la figura, contienen la zona abdominal (aleluya!) y marcas nuestras maravillosas curvas. Otra cosa es que haya quienes no se vean con ellos puestos porque no les gusten estas siluetas. Lo que destaco de estos jeans frenta a los comunes y corrientes (aka pitillos, rectos…) es que lucen más y mejor con prendas básicas como camisas oversized, camisetas o jerséis. Eso sí, mi consejo sería que siempre busquéis un modelo cropped o tobillero ;)

Mira que me he me comprado vaqueros en asos, pero la talla no la tengo clara. Si llevo una 36 entiendo que sera la W26.   14. pienso igual, sientan genial a todas, y que verdad tan grande diches, me acuerdo cuando los llevaba mi madre y le decía , te tienes que renovar mama ya no se llevan, y ahora soy la primera que me encantan

  15. Me encantan, pero nunca encuentro mi talla perfecta. Soy muy menudita y la 34 me suele quedar grande y la 32 a veces bien pero otras o no me entran o me quedan flojos. Es mi odisea con estos pantalones.
    Por cierto, soy la que te escribí el email sobre el acné (aunque supongo que te escribirá mucha gente). Voy a probar con otro dermatólogo porque este sólo me ha dado pastillas.

Estoy pensando en comprarme los mismos jeans de Asos (te sientan genial), pero el link me redirecciona a ese mismo modelo pero en un color mas claro…y a mi me gustan los tuyos mas oscuritos:( Son el mismo color pero en la web parecen distintos?

    1. Hola Mar! el link que he puesto es de los mismos jeans que llevo yo, ahora nos sabría decirte.. Quizás en mis fotos por el retoque y porque eran fotos en interior, se vean un pelin más oscuros de los que lo son en realidad, pero si buscas unos oscuritos, en la descripción he dejado otros similares ;) besitos!!
