Last week we did a short trip to Madrid for less than 48 hours and you have no idea… It was exactly what we need: some new fresh air. I love my life and what I do, but every time that I feel that uncontrollable desire of complaining about everything, I just remind myself how lucky I actually am. I look back and I end up wondering if all of this is for real?! I just crossed out so many things from my to-do list in life, I already started the most exciting chapters of my life and for sure, I’m living my life to its fullest whether things are easy-breazy or when everything is a mess. But still, the fact of leaving behind the routines and tight schedules, forget about obligations and just enjoy some my/us time feel so right. I cannot say that you come back home feeling so rested, because we didn’t stop even for a minute, but you do with full batteries and that’s what matters. The reason behind our flash-trip was to attend the release of a new product-treatment from Natura Bissé -Inhibit HD- and at first the idea was to go and come back home the same day, but we thought it was the perfect excuse for a short break and so we came home on Thursday.
I barely had time to prepare my suitcase -with two babies, a dog and work- having time for that king of things are a luxury and almost a miracle! So, I just throw in all the new stuff I’m in love with, took these white pants that are like my second legs when it comes to events and on top of that, I added two bulky coats just to make sure I would not come back with a flu. To be honest, we are going through the calendar seeing when it’s possible to take a break again :) But not only that, we are seeing dates for a our first trip as a family of four, probably at the beginning of the next year and definitely somewhere with hot weather and beaches around :)

La semana pasada nos escapamos algo menos de 48h a Madrid y no sabéis… Ha sido un soplo de aire fresco, justo lo que necesitaba necesitábamos. Me encanta mi vida y lo que hago, cuando se desata ese deseo incontrolable de quejarme por todo, me recuerdo lo afortunada que soy. Echo la vista atrás y pienso «¿es en serio todo lo que vivo a diario?» Creo que a estas alturas he tachado muchas cosas de mi lista, sobre todo de esas que importan de verdad y que marcas con fluorescente. Siento que están siendo unos años super intensos en mi vida pero que estoy disfrutando mucho, tanto cuando todo es fácil como cuando las cosas tienden a torcerse… Pero una cosa ni quita la otra. Romper con la rutina, o mejor dicho escaparte de ella, olvidarte de las tareas de casa, de los horarios, dejar que la mente vuele alto y libre, sienta de miedo. No os voy a decir que vuelves super descansada y en estado mental zen, porque francamente nosotros no paramos un segundo quietos, pero sin lugar a dudas vuelves con las pilas a tope y eso es lo importante! El motivo de nuestra escapada a Madrid fue para asistir al lanzamiento de un nuevo producto de Natura Bissé -Inhibit HD- y aunque al principio la idea era ir y volver en el mismo día, decidimos que era momento de dedicarnos un tiempo para nosotros y extendimos el viaje hasta el jueves.
No tuve casi tiempo para preparar la maleta, así que cogí algunas de mis prendas favoritas que he incorporado recientemente a mi armario, recurrí a estos pantalones que me han salvado la vida en más de 2 y 3 y 4… ocasiones, y un par de abrigos calentitos para asegurarme que no volvía con un resfriado. Y no os voy a engañar, ya estamos pensando cuándo organizar otro break como éste porque es más que necesario :) Y no sólo eso, estamos viendo cuándo es posible que hagamos nuestro primer viaje como 4 (la escapada a Baeza no cuenta como viaje), probablemente en los primeros meses del año que viene y seguro a algún sitio con buen clima y playas!
