Many of you ask me frequently about my lipsticks. The truth is that most of the times, I don’t know which one I’m wearing because I always pick one of the lipsticks I’m carrying on my bag. Yes, I’m that kind of girl who always bring like 5-6 lipsticks, lip balms, gloss..whenever I go!

I always opt for soft colors which are pretty similar to my natural lip color, even though I love bright colors for some specific outfits/occasions. When I want «that touch» I pick a bright red, but when I’m wearing a strong make-up or I want a super natural one, then nude lips are the best option.

Muchas soléis preguntarme por el color de labios en mis posts. La verdad es que no me suelo fijar porque es el último toque antes de salir por la puerta de casa y suelo pintármelos de algún color que lleve en el bolso. No sé vosotras, pero yo soy de esas que lleva en el bolso siempre como 4 o 5 barras de labios, cacao, gloss…

Suelo optar por colores muy semejantes a mi color de labios natural, aunque de vez en cuando me gusta añadir un toque de color fuerte y me lanzo a por los rojos y otras veces que llevo el maquillaje de los ojos muy marcado o quiero un maquillaje muy neutro, opto por un color nude.

This is my first and only one nude lipstick and I was one of those who always thought that nude tones were not made for me… However, each of us have an specific nude tone according our skin and lip tone, and trust me when I say that once you get your nude shade… It looks beyond beautiful! Of course, I would recommend you to avoid a very creamy/beige shade, otherwise your lips look white :S I love this one from Maybelline New York and if you are looking for one too, I remember that the brand have a range of nudes!

Es el primer y único pintalabios que tengo en este tono, y es que yo era de esas que pensaba que los tonos nude no estaban hechos para mi… Sin embargo, todas tenemos un tono nude que va acorde a nuestro color de labios y de piel, y os aseguro que cuando dais con él… ¡Resulta fabuloso! Eso sí, os diría que evitáseis a toda costa tonos demasiado claros porque el efecto es de «labios blancos» :S A mi me encanta este de Maybelline New York y recuerdo que tenían una colección solo de Nudes ;)

I love this lip balm from Sleek. Some months ago, I bought the same lip balm but in a darker color which is perfect for winter…but I wanted something more bright! I love this one because it looks super natural and it imitates the natural lip color (although it looks fucsia) and it moisturizes so much with a subtle shine. This is the one that I used the most!

Me encanta este bálsamo labial con color de Sleek. Hace tiempo me compré el mismo en otro tono, pero dejaba un color demasiado oscuro para el verano… Este me encanta porque el efecto es como si no llevases nada! Este bálsamo imita el color natural de los labios (aunque en la bote o en persona parezca fuscia) y deja los labios muy hidratados y con un ligero brillo, como cuando aplicamos cacao. Sin duda, este es el que más uso en el día a día!

This is a neutral color that it should not be missed because it copies almost literally the natural tone of the lips. I use it during winter and summer, but for a super natural effect, I apply it with small touches.

Este es un color neutro que no debe de faltar porque copia casi de forma literal el tono natural de los labios. Yo lo uso indistintamente durante el invierno y verano, aunque para conseguir un efecto super natural, suelo usarlo a pequeños toques. El resultado es el de «labios mordidos» ;)

When we talk about red lipsticks, I look for the dark tones that go towards wine/burgundy tones during winter, while in summer I pay attention to bright red-coral shades… However, this has a touch of fucsia and I have to say that it’s very flattering! Also, I like it because it is 100% matte, but during summer we can choose satin lipstick and they will look so pretty if we opt for a bronzed-glowing make-up ;)

Dentro de los rojos, en invierno me fijo en los tonos oscuros que van en dirección a los tonos vino/burdeos, mientras que en verano busco tonos de rojo más encendidos… Sin embargo, éste tiene un toque de fucsia que reconozco resulta muy favorecedor en verano! Además, me gusta porque es 100% matte, aunque en verano podemos optar por los pintalabios satinados sin miedo ;)

This is the only long lasting lipstick that I tried and actually it works… I didn’t check whether it fulfills the 16 hours as it promises, but it looks so pretty for hours and hours! It’s the same one I showed you on the last make-up tutorial (click here!) and the shade of red is beautiful. I don’t know you, but one of the reason why I don’t wear red lips more frequently is because I hate to tint everything that it’s around me like napkins, clothes… Everything! I love this one because it’s not sticky and you never feel your lips dry, plus, you can use the balm as much as you need. Also, there are two shades of red: one darker for winter and this is one which is more bright, perfect for summer :)

Este es de momento el único pintalabios de larga duración que he probado y que realmente funciona… No sé si llegará a las 16 horas, pero desde luego que aguanta horas y horas! Es el mismo que os mostraba en el último tutorial de maquillaje (click aquí!) y es genial sobre todo cuando optamos por colores fuertes como el rojo. No sé vosotras, pero yo odio pintarme los labios y manchar todo: vasos, servilletas, ropa… ¡todo! Éste me gusta porque no resulta nada pegajoso ni deja sensación de labios secos. Además, tiene el bálsamo hidratante que se puede aplicar tantas veces como queramos, y justo tienen dos tonos de rojo: uno más oscuro que lo uso en in invierno, y este que tienen un toque de coral, perfecto para verano :)
