Lately, I’m pushing myself to find a new comfort zone out of black&white, both together or just monochromatic outfits, and introduce some color. It sounds even funny, because I always describe myself in fashion as someone who loves to mix&match prints and colors, finding new ways to wear everyday pieces; I used to take care of my look even for just walking the dog! But running -not living- this life at such speed, living under a tight schedule and not having time for anything rather diapers, breastfeeding, dolls and toys, cartoons and washable crayons… my levels of inspiration are so down and some days, I don’t really care to be honest. As I told you, I didn’t have so much time to pack my things but it seems like even despite the short time I had, it went so good. How different was to walk into my closet with a relaxed mind and opened up to whatever idea came first; it was like being in front of someone else’s closet and feel so envy about the treasures they have. Regarding to my style, the lack of time and tons of stress are affecting, but also having babies. If you are in my same position, you know that you may end up your day going down on a slide, carrying a heavy baby for hours and hourse, or running like crazy in between the aisles of the supermarket, stores,… you name it. I have to confess that, since Bruno was born, most of the day I’m just looking for something comfortable and warm to wear. When the combination is more than two basics, well I’m happy; when it’s not, I’m happy too ;)

So I feel so proud of myself because the short time I spend packing my stuff resulted in many outfits I’m loving. From this one, I really like all the shades mix together, how comfortable, warm and cozy it actually is. Definitely, it’s not the proper outfit to wear for a park date with the kiddos, but to wear on a daily basis being a very chic-mommy ;P

Últimamente estoy haciendo un esfuerzo para salirme del eterno black&white, juntos o por separado, e introducir más colores en mi día a día. Parece mentira que diga esto, yo que siempre he combinado tantos colores y estampados, que siempre buscaba cómo darle una vuelta de tuerca a casi cualquier look, incluso si era para salir a pasear al perro. Pero el estrés del día a día, vivir bajo un (estricto) horario y poco tiempo para cualquier cosa que no tenga que ver con tomas, pañales, muñecas, dibujitos o rotuladores lavables… hacen que mi inspiración y ganas mermen por momentos. Como os contaba en el post anterior, no tuve mucho tiempo para hacer la maleta para Madrid -total, eran 2 días-, pero el poco rato que estuve en el vestidor… ¡Me cundió muchísimo! Cómo se notaba que estaba con la mente despejada y relajada, porque de pronto empezaron a surgir muchísimas combinaciones improvisadas, ideas que no tenía desde hacía muchísimo! Porque no sólo afecta el vivir con la lengua fuera, es que estar siempre con algún niño cerca del que hacerte cargo, con el que terminarás tirándote por el tobogán u otro al que cargarás en brazos horas y horas, terminan afectando también a tu look. Tengo que confesar que desde que nació Bruno, cuando entro al vestidor, lo único que pienso es: algo cómodo y si se sale de lo super básico, ok, pero no es fundamental.

Así que me siento especialmente orgullosa del poco tiempo que invertí en la maleta y lo bien que me salió todo. De este look me gusta todo, pero lo que más, lo realmente cómodo que es y calentito. No es quizás apto para parques infantiles, pero sí para vestir a diario, abrigada y sin perder un ápice de estilo ;P
