I always tell you that I’m so bored of my city when it comes to take pictures. I would say that it’s actually a beautiful city but the photogeny is not its strongest point, at least when you have to reduce the plane for a fashion shooting. One thing is true and that’s it the magical light, no one wins rather than us. Lately, we get out of our comfort zone and we went to look for new locations, we have buried some manias and prejudices and we try to shoot even in the most unexpected places! And I’m lovin’ that because it motivates me so much, but at the same time, there are places that I love but I cannot go anymore. We went so many times on the past so now I kinda hate them! Something similar happens with this short trench…

This jacket has been on the pile to leave my closet many times than I can even count, but at the end it always makes it to stay. Once upon a time, I used to wear it so much -at the beginning of this blog- and I used to love it too! But since then and my passion for it, I get tired of it and now it’s like I love it but I hate it. Deep down in my heart, I know that this jacket it’s so basic but so special at the same time, that I won’t ever wear it as much as I used to but the day that no other jacket matches my outfit rather than this… If that happens and I don’t have it anymore, I will regret my decision. We usually have plenty of black jackets or blazers, brown coats.. But I don’t think that a short trench is that common! So, I decided that its particular condition saved it from trash box one more year, at least until next Spring :)

Siempre os cuento que Málaga me suele aburrir cuando tenemos que ir a hacer fotos. Yo diría que es una ciudad bonita pero no fotogénica, al menos cuando necesitas reducir el plano para fotos de moda. Eso sí, nadie nos gana en luz y es que aquí tiene otro color, otro brillo. Últimamente hemos ampliado nuestros horizontes en cuanto a localizaciones, hemos enterrado algunas manías y hemos probado a disparar incluso en sitios por los que jamás habría dado un duro! Aún así, hay sitios que me gustan y los que hemos recurrido mucho muchísimo durante estos últimos años, tanto que los tengo aborrecidos y he terminado odiándolos… Algo así me sucede con esta chaqueta.

Este trench corto ha estado muchas veces en la pila de ropa que quiero vender, y siempre al final consigue recuperar su sitio en mi armario. Hubo un tiempo que me la ponía día y noche, y creo que desde entonces la aborrecí… Pero en el fondo, sé que es una chaqueta básica pero especial, que ya no me volveré a usar tanto como lo solía hacer pero que si un día se cruza el look perfecto donde ninguna otra chaqueta encaja excepto ella, entonces me arrepentiré de haberme deshecho de ella! Chaquetas negras tenemos miles, pero un trench corto lo dudo… De modo que he decidido que esa condición la va a salvar, al menos hasta la primavera que viene :)
