And finally the sun came out. Oh my, I didn’t visualize at all that time. As I told you, we are not used to so many rainy days in a row. Actually, when it’s raining in Málaga, most of us avoid going out. We don’t make any plans, we wait until the nice weather is back. I know it sounds a little bit crazy but why to grab a coffee on a rainy day when the sun will shine probably the following day? Anyway, we had this weekend such a nice weather… So bad that it wasn’t warm enough to go to the beach, but we are right now seeing what we can do with the terrace to take full of advantage this summer. We want to do as many BBQs as possible and well, the coffee after lunch tastes so much better outside under the sun :)

On Sundays, we don’t do too much things. Most of the times, we stay at home or we go to my parent’s house for lunch. We usually don’t make plans because my mind needs a day off… The first months after Olivia was born, I was super tired all day every day, so Sundays was to do but nothing. But for a few weeks now, we are forcing us to make plans and go outside all the weekend, avoiding the job takes our lives, days and hours. It’s so difficult to have a balance in between work & family, relax & having fun, but frankly it’s just a manner of attitude. If you want it, you can make it happens, but just do it! I know that this sounds pretty obvious but sometimes I’m in the middle of a non-success routine with an endless to-do list. Then, I felt so stressed because I have so much to do but so little time, and I don’t know where to start and I feel so paralyzed. Have you ever feel this way?

So, this Sunday we went for a walk down to Muelle Uno and we ate some ice-cream as well as Olivia, just a little bit ;) Since the temperatures are still crazy, and depending of the force of the wind you can feel a little bit of cold or hot, it’s high time to take out all the long dresses. You know I love long and basic dresses, but I’m so weak if we talk about white dresses… They have priority boarding pass to my closet! Because I wanted to give it a twist but without a belt, I made a small knot and I secured it with a safety pin :)

Y por fin salió el sol. No veía el día ni el momento en que la lluvia nos dejase y saliese, por fin, el ansiado sol. Como os decía, aquí en Málaga nunca llueve tanto así que no estamos acostumbrados… De hecho, estamos tan acostumbrados que cuando llueve, la mayoría optar por planes caseros y ya saldremos a la calle cuando haga bueno! Aunque no ha hecho tiempo de playa o piscina, sí que hemos aprovechado para salir a la calle y es que ahora estamos mirando opciones para nuestra terraza. Es bastante grande y queremos tenerla a punto para poder empezar a disfrutar de BBQ al sol y el café post-almuerzo que fuera al aire libre sabe mejor :)

Los domingos solíamos quedarnos en casa, a lo sumo íbamos a casa de mis padres a comer y vuelta a nuestra casita. Nunca quería hacer planes porque mentalmente necesitaba pensar en un día sin planes para descansar… Pero ahora llevamos ya un tiempo forzándonos a salir todos los fines de semanas, intentar que el trabajo no domine nuestros días y nuestras horas, encontrar el equilibrio entre relax y diversión y, francamente, es cuestión de actitud. Es tener ganas de hacerlo, proponértelo y llevarlo a cabo, sin más! Sé que demasiado obvio, pero a veces me atasco tanto en la rutina, en los «tengo que hacer esto o lo otro», que termino por agobiarme y quedarme paralizada… ¿Os pasa?

Así que ayer domingo, aprovechando que hacía bueno, salimos por la tarde a dar un paseo a Muelle Uno y tomar un helado. Como os decía, hacía buen día pero a ratos había esa fresca brisa y calor a otros, así que era y es el momento perfecto para ceder el protagonismo a los vestidos largos. Estos vestidos básicos y sencillos me encantan, nunca faltan en mi armario, y si encima son blancos… Entonces tienen pase VIP. Para darle un pequeño twist pero sin recurrir al cinturón, hice un pequeño nudo y lo sujeté con un imperdible ;)
