I don’t know if it’s the cold, the lack of time or the chaosof my closet but lately… I feeling a little bit lazy when it comes to get dressed! Of course, we all have that kind of days when you don’t look pretty no matter what you try or maybe you feel that you have nothing on the closet. After that crisis, everything feels good and new again, and you find a lot of options into your wardrobe, like if every thing were new! Well, I’m stuck on that crisis for a while and there are days -like this one- when I like the outfit and I think is OK for running errands or whatever, but I don’t feel it special in any way. When this happens, I always wonder whether I should keep it with and do not post it on the blog, or share it with you since we always have these days too… I mean, I don’t like to publish just because, and Salva always tell me that even if I don’t feel nothing special but I like it, I should publish it anyway :) (I adore him!)  This is my kinda uniform lately and I start with a black base and add a jacket or a cardigan, boots or flat shoes and a cute detail like a scarf or some jewelry. I said it, nothing fancy! But it’s so important to have good basics and taking care of them because they are the best option  if we are in crisis, right?

No sé si es cosa del frío, de la falta de tiempo o del caos que reina en mi armario desde hace meses, pero últimamente estoy muy perezosa a la hora de vestirme! Ya me ha pasado alguna vez tener días de poca inspiración y en los que sientes, o bien que no tienes nada que ponerte, o bien que nada de lo que tienes te sienta bien. Después de unos días de crisis, todo vuelve a la normalidad y vuelvo a encontrar un millón de opciones, incluso en esas prendas de las que previamente había asegurado que me iba a deshacer! Pues bien, ese no es el caso últimamente y hay días, como por ejemplo este, en los que mi look no me parece del todo mal -lo veo perfecto para cualquier día de esos en los que no paras- pero que tampoco le veo gracia alguna. Siempre acabo preguntándome si también debo de mostrar estos looks o es mejor sólo publicar looks con ese «je ne sais quoi»… A lo que Salva siempre me dice que debo de publicar cualquier look si me gusta, ya que al fin y al cabo todas necesitamos ver distintos tipos de looks! Este es mi look estrella últimamente y consiste en partir de una base color negro (quién me lo iba a decir!) y añadir botas, alguna chaqueta o cardigan que uso a modo chaqueta y algún detalle como pulseras o un pañuelo. Efectivamente, nada del otro mundo!! Pero sí que veo que es importante tener y cuidar tus piezas favoritas del armario porque son al final a las que más recurrimos cuando vivimos en crisis, ¿o no?

  2. Hey Jessie, you look so cute here! I think that the little red scarf you’re wearing is what makes this outfit interesting. I’m definitely gonna try one of those! Paired with leather trousers or cool sneakers, it won’t look too grandma-like, right?

    And yes, we all have those days when nothing in one’s closet feels or looks nice. Sticking with the basics is a good idea then!

    I’ve been following your blog for at least a year and I don’t think you’ve ever had a bad outfit. I would wear EVERYTHING I’ve seen you throw together. Your style is so chic and you remind me a lot of Olivia Palermo with your knack for accessorizing. You make getting dressed look so effortless.   15. Hola Jessie!: Cuando he visto este look he alucinado porque es casi un clon del que he llevado yo este puente de diciembre de viaje. Igualito salvo por el pañuelo que yo no llevaba sino que el toque de color lo llevaba en el bolso rojo. Así que me encanta!!!. Ando buscando como una loca pañuelos pero no encuentro como yo quiero, espero que los Reyes Magos tengan más suerte jeje… Y a ti Jessie todo te luce el doble, estás guapísima!!!
